Dr. Nada Alasmi is an educational systems-builder who is well-versed in student support and program design.
She currently serves as an Assistant Director in cultural and student life at Northeastern University. Previously, she worked in the K-12 and non-profit fields where she developed skills in curriculum design and alignment; data collection and analysis; adaptability and cultural sensitivity; and transforming relationships from tension to trust.
Nada’s work is centered in learning theory and social justice. She holds a Doctorate in Diversity & Equity in Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as a Master’s Degree in International Political Economy, with a concentration in Economic Development in East Asia and the Middle East.
