I planned trips to help immerse students in the customs, traditions, and histories of our diverse communities.  During these trips, students engaged in hands-on learning, enjoyed traditional meals, and learned about the cultures and customs of various communities.  

Sample Trip Itinerary – NYC Trip

Students chose between visiting the Museum of Chinese in America or participating in a NYC Walking Tour. Afterward, all students visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art. 

Itinerary At-a-Glance: 

• 5:00am: Depart from UNH via charter bus
• 10:30 – 11:00am: Arrive in NYC
• 11:00am – 12:00pm: Lunch
• 12:30 – 2:00pm: Choose on Experience
  • First Option: Visit the Museum of Chinese in America to attend the workshop, “Where do Stereotypes Come From.”
  • Second Option: Attend the Tour NYC
• 3:30 – 5:30pm: Visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art to tour their exhibits
• 6:00pm: Take the bus to return to UNH. Dinner on the bus. 
• 11:00pm – Midnight: Arrive at UNH
